After 12 years of watching your dancers develop and grow we are so happy with what Allegro offers our daughters. Our eldest, Julia, has been more or less a part-time dancer over the years. Who knew all of those years ago that little girl in primary ballet would be able to find herself in Jazz class? Or Hip-Hop? Your staff was always patient and understanding when figure skating seemed to constantly interfere with her dance schedule. But, we all understood competitive skating and dance went hand in hand. Now that she no longer skates as regularly, she continues to express herself through dance and Allegro's competition team let's her vent that competitive streak of her personality. Accelerated in ballet, at a regular pace in jazz, and at her leisure in tumbling. It is wonderful to have such an experienced staff and flexible program available for my girls. Thanks for everything, "...best dance education and opportunities in our area." Hi! My name is Kim Bontrager. My daughter, Kaitlyn, is 12 years old. She has danced at Allegro Dance Arts for seven years. When she was five years old, I enrolled her in a tumbling class. At age six, wanting to give ballet a try, her dance education began and she has been in constant motion ever since! Kaitlyn LOVES to dance. Currently, her classes are tumbling, acro, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and tap. She is enjoying every minute and, if possible, would dance 24/7. The students at Allegro Dance Arts receive the best dance education and opportunities in our area. Students can attend dance conventions, participate in competitive dance as a company dancer, and perform in The Nutcracker. The teachers at Allegro are always happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have. They want the student dancer to gain as much as possible from each class. Kaitlyn would not be the dancer she is today without the excellent training and opportunities she has received through Allegro. One of her dreams is to be on a competitive dance team when she attends college. With the experience and training from Allegro, her dream can become a reality. I can barely remember a time when I wasn't dropping off, picking up, or sitting upstairs visiting with other moms at the Allegro Dance Arts Studio. In the last eight years, dance has become such an important part of both my daughters' lives. It has not only provided them with an education in dance, but it has also been a place in which they have established and maintained many of their closest friendships. The years at Allegro have done more than just help my daughters evolve into dancers. It has helped build my daughters confidence in themselves, given them great self-esteem and taught them how to work hard to achieve goals both as individuals and together as a whole class. The teachers at Allegro provide an atmosphere of mutual respect and discipline while maintaining a fun, creative, positive environment. They have challenged my girls to reach their personal best by encouraging them to try their hardest and constantly affirming their accomplishments. I can honestly say that the teachers at Allegro have truly cared about my girls as much as my girls have cared for them. They have become very special people in my daughters' lives. As a parent I am thrilled at how Allegro Dance Arts encourages family involvement. Moms, dads, siblings, aunts, uncles and even grandparents are involved with the recitals, competitions and other productions. Input from family members is welcome and often improvements are made based on these suggestions. I have in the past and will continue in the future to refer my friend's children to Allegro Dance Arts. I think my daughter summed it up the best when someone asked her if she took" dance and where. " As parents of a first year student we have found Allegro Dance Arts to be a great experience. The instructors instill confidence in their students while teaching dance. Most impressive is at the spring recital we learned that all of the graduating seniors had enrolled in college. My family and friends agree that this was the best recital out of the last six that we have been at. The ballet was so upbeat and fun to watch. We really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the fall! Now 5 of my children will be taking classes this year. Three have participated in the summer clinics which allowed them to try different styles of dance and learn a lot very quickly. They love each style and they love the teachers! The teachers at Allegro are exceptional. They teach appropriately for each age group. They teach the style of dance while allowing the dancer to have fun and enjoy the experience of dance. The teachers foster the love of dance in the children.
