Dance Opportunities Since arriving in the Meadville area, Gretchen Myers has brought in guest teachers, professional dance companies, directed a Cultural Exchange Group that went to Russia, and provided many growth opportunities for area dancers. Allegro Dance Arts has provided a range of dance activities beyond class. Everything from bus trips to see Pittsburgh Ballet to dancers performing as part of Team U.S.A. in Riesa, Germany. In addition to a schedule (PDF file) of classes, Allegro Dance Arts presents a Recital each spring. Dancers might perform with the Competition Team, Nutcracker, and take private lessons. The Class Demonstrator program offers advanced students a unique mentoring experiences on a regular basis. |
